Rosenwood Rose Sponsors Bobbitt Inn of Court Event on Judicial Independence

Rosenwood Rose & Litwak was pleased to be a panelist sponsor for the recent program on Judicial Independence presented by the Justice William Bobbitt Inn of Court. The program featured the Honorable James A. Wynn, Jr., U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit as the moderator, alongside panelists Hon. Mark D. Martin, Dean & Professor, Regent University School of Law, Hon. Donna S. Stroud, Chief Judge, NC Court of Appeals, and John R. Wester, Esq. of the law firm Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson, P.A.

The program was a panel discussion on the history of judicial independence, the pros and cons of various state judicial selection and retention systems, and the implications for the rule of law. It was an engaging conversation and a call to arms for attorneys to get involved in the debate, whatever their position may be. The program was presented live at Legion Brewing’s Southpark location, as well as virtually, and had over 40 attendees.
